Honestly, I give this honest review because I had high expectations from this burger for the price of 49 lei (just the burger). It seems to me that 90% resembles the one from McDonalds and honestly it did not impress me at all, no hate. I didn’t mind the price, but come on… 49 lei for a double cheeseburger that is like the one from Mc… It is a burger that can be eaten when you are hungry and that is not special at all compared to other burgers. The potatoes are ok, I don’t want to judge here, they are just some potatoes. One thing that was more special is the bun, which I found fluffy and interesting in texture.
Kind of like an overpriced McDonalds. Frozen potatoes, tasteless. I have nothing to say about the burger, far from it. Overrated hipster local fix. Arrogant and no-nonsense staff to be a complete bummer. If you want to eat a burger in the city, there are many other options with which there is no comparison.

I won’t lie. For several months you have wanted me to reach them, but I am very disappointed. We each had a burger and a portion of fries. About 50 lei per person. Execrable. The burger tastes good, BUT ABSOLUTELY NO WOW, super thin slice of meat, quite a few ingredients inside. Not that I’m desperate for gigantic burgers, but we didn’t get enough. I think it’s a little bigger than a Hamburger from Mec. We went to Mec afterwards. And the potatoes? They only allowed themselves to put salt on them. Some potatoes…probably the chain store brand. Freeze. Nothing. They don’t even have plastic cutlery, as real hipsters take their takeout or eat with their hands. What can I say? Even the sauces were not homemade.Fancy a burger? If you don’t want a restaurant, go to Mec / Burger King because you’ll find something more filling there. A total chaos, a lot of noise. I don’t understand how such a place took off and how people think it’s so good.

I found THE best smashed burger! A small place with only three options, but well chosen.I went for the “hottie” option – obviously.The buns are very fluffy, and the meat-to-bun ratio is perfect!More meat, less good – as it should be! I chose the version with two slices of meat (gotta keep up the protein) and honestly, I would have eaten one more.The melted cheddar, sauce and jalapeños were on point. Fried potatoes, salted just right.You can feel the quality of the ingredients, worth the hype 100%!

Insensitive, they didn’t show that they were on vacation. I got to the location to find that it was closed, although it appeared open on Google.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Smash Baby Burger. Although the food is good, it is overshadowed by the absolutely pathetic service and completely unprofessional staff. Ambiance is non-existent and the atmosphere is cold and unfriendly. The most disturbing aspect was the behavior of the staff: they were extremely rude and treated us with disdain throughout the visit.
Do it and I will update the program so that people don’t come for nothing and find it closed at 8 o’clock on a Saturday!
The burgers are ok, but not wow. The potatoes are frozen, and with the burgers I felt more the taste of mustard, than that of the meat.

We tried the cheeseburger and the smashed baby burger. The cheeseburger was not for my taste, a bit sour from the sauces and the pickles maybe, but the smashed baby burger was very tasty and creamy. They prepared the burgers very fast, and we ate them on the terrace upstairs.We drinked and enjoyed the Frutti Fresh juice, a drink that was popular in our childhood.

I ordered 3 double burgers, I received them all with a single piece of meat. (we only realized it at home). They were not special at all, they barely had any taste, and the potatoes were unsalted. We went there with expectations, because we ate there once before and we really liked it, but we left very disappointed this time. The staff was very ok, too bad for the culinary experience.

This is the 2nd time to eat from smash baby, the first time was so bad and the 2nd time is 3/10..sorry but this burger doesn’t deserve all this hype and the amount that u pay for it..i don’t recommend.
Served on locationMcDonald @Dorobanti (unjustified price)…they could raise the level from 3 to 4 stars if they changed the potatoes to something more decent and threw some spices on them. Overall, tasteless… a bit cold potatoes and a bit dry meat, even if it’s smash.I don’t usually leave reviews, but there is too much fuss for something so weak.

It’s incredible how people get fooled by influencer promotions. Those who say they are the best burgers in Bucharest, I suspect that this is your first burger you have eaten. It’s the biggest stick ever, the burgers have no taste, and neither do the fries (they’re frozen). I advise you to try another restaurant if you are craving a good burger, you will thank me later.
I’ve heard about this place from some Romanian friends ..guys this is macdonalds burger but price x4 nothing special to wait 35 minutes for 2 burgers.. i don’t recommend.

The burgers are particularly tasty, but extremely small and at a pretentious restaurant price. It is preferable to take the takeaway order.. They only have a few places to serve there and it is an adventure to carry the products up those narrow stairs to the terrace..I went to them on a Sunday and it was extremely crowded..the tables were not wiped and the trash cans were full…I paid 180 ron for 3 simple cheeseburgers, 3 portions of fried potatoes and 3 cans of frutti fresh..Only the taste made me not feel sorry…With this money you are ruining at Mc.

Nothing to write home about. It’s just an average smashed burger, with less meat than you would expect at this price. Fries are disappointing. Don’t understand the hype and the mountain of excellent reviews, but I guess to each their own. I wouldn’t recommend.

By far one of the best burgers in Bucharest.I would say that the space is a bit cramped, but it’s worth eating standing and walking. I also understand that they will be moving to another location so the problem will be solved soon.The only thing I would change about the burger is the bun, it’s not bad at all but could be a little firmer and a little bigger for my taste. Otherwise, the mix of tastes is insane.We will come back as soon as possible.
For me the size is perfect, delicious ingredients. The bun is perfect (not too much bread like you usually get in a burger). The meat is so good it doesn’t need other extra sauces or ingredients that usually make the burger huge and difficult to eat. The fries are very good – similar to McDonalds. We always stop by for a quick & tasty meal and every time we get the same great taste. Also, the service is very quick. Even when it’s crowded, you won’t wait more than 10 min.

The food is very good. I recommend that whatever burger you take, take it with two pieces of meat. The staff is very nice and they welcome you to the location with a very fresh vibe. It should be taken into account that upstairs there are a few seats reserved for customers, which are usually occupied, so I recommend that you pack and go eat somewhere else if you don’t want to sit among pedestrians on the sidewalks. A very good experience and I recommend!

Besides the questionable quality of the food, I was disturbed by the attitude of the patron. He invited a group of friends who behaved uncivilized, talking vulgarly and taking up unnecessary space while a long line of customers waited.Another major negative aspect was the lack of a sanitary group. The place does not have a toilet, which is a major hygiene and comfort issue.
The smash burger is average and I can’t say I understand the hype. I came here because of the multiple Tiktok videos where this place was promoted by ‘’’’’influencers’’’’’. The fries are dreadful, 13 lei for one portion and it feels exactly like the ones from Mcdonalds, only more expensive. Maybe this place is a social experiement 🤷🏼♀️ so don’t get fooled.

The burgers are good, probably the best SMASHED BURGERS I’ve had.I say this because I haven’t eaten many that truly fulfill the qualities of a true smashed burger.The bun, although it looks very cheap and of poor quality, is soft, fluffy, most likely “steamed”.The meat itself is caramelized to perfection, but it slightly exceeds the edges of the bun, which is rather small, which makes it harder to eat the burger or, rather, harder to enjoy all the ingredients at once.The Baby G tastes like a Big Mac, and the spicy one has a similar taste, but a little more spicy.I still give 4 stars because, really, the price seems a bit high for the portion offered. Being so soft and compact (yes, I know this implies a smash burger), it ends very quickly and practically you don’t even get to really enjoy it, to feel all the flavors.

Those of you who say that it’s good, you’ve never eaten a burger in your life other than Mc. Actually, it’s a stall that spreads small meat/meatballs between two buns taken from Selgros, and fried potatoes, the latter usually frozen.If this stall was at Obor, this sandwich was no more than 20 lei.A place for corporate hipsters who drink craft beer made in a brewery in Berceni, with a meat that leaves your mouth with a taste of hatred. I paid 150 lei for 3 sandwiches and 3 portions of potatoes.Stop following all the starving cardboard influencers who would promote anything.Ah, bonus: you can’t remove the ingredients (eg: no onion) from the beginning, when you place the order, but “remove them after it’s ready”. I mean, more precisely, at a location that doesn’t have sanitary facilities, I have to put my hands through the sandwich to remove the cucumbers. I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to get the sauce out.If hypocrisy and snobbery had a place to eat, this is it. I regret with all my heart that I paid the money and I firmly believe that I will never return here.
The food was great, but there are very few seats, of which we did not catch any, so we had to eat in our car. Also the queue is quite long, we waited for about 40-50 min before even ordering.

We went at around 6-7pm and our order was ready in less than 10 minutes!😍The meat was perfectly done the way i like it and the bun was special, it was soft and sweet.The seating area was limited and crowded on the little rooftop but it was alright.Will be coming back!
I came to this burger joint because of the hype on Instagram. Unfortunately, the disappointment I felt was almost as big as a woman’s after an evening spent with a crypto “investor”. The potatoes are very basic, frozen, but the sauces from the house are very good. The burger tasted almost identical to a big mac with some higher quality ingredients. It tasted ok, but nowhere near what I imagined.
The burgers are decent, but the taste is completely lacking, they don’t even have salt and pepper in the composition, the bun really makes them a little more interesting, but otherwise they have nothing special.

Probably the best and most authentic smashed burger in Bucharest. It’s very popular at the moment, so you have to expect to wait between 15-25 minutes after ordering, but it’s worth it. If you come hungry, take 2 doubles, any version 😉
The guys were nice, the service ok. The burger is a bit mediocre and I wouldn’t try it a second time. Frozen potatoes, sauces in a bag (which are not wow at all). It would be much nicer if they could replace those foam casseroles and have something custom made.
It’s a place where the burgers are ok, the concept is also nice, the fast service (but I saw another time a huge queue that I didn’t stay in, obviously, it probably depends on the time). The cons are that it was way too salty for my taste, especially the fries, there weren’t enough places to eat there, and online ordering is not possible (for now at least). Good but similar to Mc Donald’s.

10-point customer service! The boys there are very nice. I got a classic burger and potatoes, my friend didn’t have potatoes and only went to get sauces. And the boy there who served us asked her why she takes sauces, because she doesn’t have potatoes. My friend told her that they were for me and gave her a portion as well. I know it’s a small gesture, but it says a lot. I have seen examples of people who asked for water and received it for free or moments when the order was messed up and the customer received something extra. On this side, bravo! I’m not a big fan of smashed burgers, because they lose that “juicy-ness” that I look for in burgers. I didn’t even know that mustard is present in the cheeseburger, I don’t really like it…but the taste is similar to the one from McCheeseburger. The concept is nice, but for the food itself, I would go elsewhere.
Loved it!I took the Baby Cheesburger and it seemed to me a perfect balance in the dosage of the ingredients, the delicious meat and the perfect bread for this type of burger.Also, customer service 10/10.I think that the only wish would be to increase its working hours.

“Underwhelming” describes the experience we had best. Service is practically non existent. If you sit on the terrace at the first floor, you have to go back to pick up your order. The burgers we had were almost cold when we got them, even though supposedly they were just made. The taste itself was not bad, but for sure not worth the asking price. I’ve had better smashed burgers (and they were hot!).

Good burgers, as a smashed burger should be, good quality ingredients. The fries are tasty, very close to McDonalds. The sauces are from the house, and because it was our first time, they offered us everything. The prices are high, more precisely everything in the picture was 110 lei. The staff is very helpful but the location is very small and it would be recommended to take away.
